A Princess Tea Party

Our eldest just turned 7!
She had a fantastic Princess Tea Party hosted by her Meme.
All the girls who attended, were given true princess names.
Our girls were Princess Elizabeth and Princess Charolette.

The sweetest bunch of birthday princesses!

My little girls.

Each princess got a chance to serve the "tea."

It was a very big deal to be welcomed at her big sister's party!

Thanking God again today for the blessing of each of our children.

So strong and so mighty...

Do you remember the sweet little sunday school song, My God is so Big?

"My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God cannot do
My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God cannot do
The Mountains are His

The Rivers are His
The Stars are His handwork too
My God is so big, so strong and so mighty
There's nothing my God cannot do"

There is nothing my God cannot do.

Even when mulitple doctors believed that my husband was dealing with lymphoma and when his situation looking quite scary, we prayed.  Why pray?  Because we believe there is nothing our God cannot do.  Today, a second scan confirmed that, despite what doctors may have thought, my husband is NOT dealing with a lymphoma or a mass at all!  He still has swelling behind his eye but no mass!  The God who made the stars hold us in the palm of His hand and I am thankful to know the creator in times such as these.  Thank you Jesus!
And thank you to everyone who has prayed!

"My God is so big, so strong and so mighty, there's nothing my God cannot do...
for you!"

II Corinthians 1:8-11

Three out of four doctors now believe that my husband has lymphoma.  What more can we do but pray
and wait in patient expectancy?

"We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it.  In fact, we expected to die.  But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely on God, who raises the dead. And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again.  We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.  And you are helping us by praying for us.  Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety."

Many are the plans… Part VII, Downtime and the Zoo

Wednesday

We opted to hang out at home with Grandma and relax.  The girls loved painting with Grandma!

Off to the zoo!  We headed out a cute little petting zoo in Maryland.  It was early in the season and we were the only family there!  The children had the zoo to themselves.  It was a very modest petting zoo but they did have bears, lemurs, lions, peacocks, and much more.  It was a great field trip!

JB6 Described this one as a cross between a rabbit and armadillo.  What do you think?

That night, we were invited to dinner at Keith and Rosanne’s and then it was off to Cole’s baseball practice.  And of course it wouldn’t be baseball season without ice cream after!  Cole was so proud of his uniform!
