Nut & Egg Free Cookie Dough! Woo Hoo!

Baked goods can be particularly unsafe for children with nut and egg allergies.  I am so excited about this nut-&-egg allergy-safe cookie dough recipe!
Thank you Snow White and Frog Prince at
"Finding Joy in My Kitchen" for the great recipe!
I can hardly wait to treat my little one with these special cookies!

Cookie Dough - Adapted from Kelly

1/2 C butter, softened
3/4 C brown sugar
1/2 C whole wheat flour
1/2 C flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2ish C dark chocolate chips
~2 T water
1/2 C oatmeal (optional)

Cream together the butter and brown sugar. Then, add in the flour, salt and stir to combine. Add in the vanilla and then, if necessary about 2 T water. Add the water 1 T at a time, stirring to see if you need more water. Then, stir in the chocolate chips.

  1. I'm so glad you enjoyed the recipe!!

The only truly nut-free chocolate chips come from either Enjoy Life Foods or Vermont Nut Free Chocolates. Both are excellent for nut-free folks.

  2. Thank you SnoWhite! We are still fairly new to this allergy journey, so it is incredibly helpful to learn about new recipes and safe foods! I will be visiting your site frequently! Thank you for responding!

  3. Gotta' make these for my son's friend who's allergic to eggs! Thanks!

  4. Did you make them? How did they turn out? They sound yummy.

  5. I have not had a chance to make these yet but I will definitley let you know how they turn out!
